Banana Oat Muffin

My colleagues n i were talking about the supply of oat at home we had.. n i told them to google me some oat based cookies/cake/muffin for me to try. n make sure they're easy n ingredients are easy to find

so today kak yati googled a recipe for banana oat muffin.. from myresipi.com i think.. she printed it out for me.. went to giant around 8pm.... then after dinner. started baking...

below is the recipe:

makes about 18 muffins

1 1/2 cup wheat flour
1 cup oat
1/2 cup castor/fine sugar
2 teaspoon baking powder (i used 1 1/2 only, due to numerous bad experience with baking powder)
1 teaspoon soda bicarbonate
a pinch of salt
1 egg
3/4 cup of fresh milk
1/3 corn oil/melted butter (used butter)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup of mashed banana

steps:
1. mix flour, oat, sugar, baking powder, soda bicarbonate, salt, mix well and put aside ( i just used whisk to mix)
2. beat the egg (no need too long, just whisk enough), pour in milk, corn oil/melted butter, vanilla essence, mashed banana, mix well
3. pour mixture 1 into mixture 2, mix it well.. not too much
4. pour into the muffin cups.....

** i add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon as suggested in the recipe... then sprinkled some chocolate rice..

oven temp: the recipe didn't state, just stated baked till done. hahah. so my temperature was 180/190 C.... baked about 30-35 minutes.. wonder y it too so longgggg.....
