Frustrated
That's the exact word that could reflect/represent what i've felt/think about the immigration office in pusat bandar damansara.
Thought that i didn't want to complaint on the uneffectiveness of the service on the day i renewed my passport, but i guess frustration towards the service today really summed up all my anger up to this.
on 2nd april (friday) me and my colleague went to get our passport done. Positive feedback from friends saying that they got their passport done within 1-2 hours made me think that i would get the same service. But NO, we went there at 11am, and at around 3.30pm only we got called to the counter. What took so long? i have no idea, from our observation, there were many counters listed for passport renewal/application. However, only 2-3 counters were open.
Upon completing/submitting the form, we were told that the collection for passport must be made the day after. Fine, i thought i would get it after 2 hours upon payment made according to the signage at the payment counter.
After paying for the passport application/renewal, we were told that we need to come on monday. ANother delay? wats the reason? i dont bother to ask
so then, i went again today to collect my passport. to my dissapointment, the system were down. i asked the guy at the counter:
me: excuse me, camne nak collect passport
the guy.. which such negative body language, lazily sitting on his chair laidback, looked at the monitor and answered: "sistem down la cik"
with such answer and such body language, i was pissed off. i complaint and babbled bout the service, that i had waited such long hours to renew my passport and now to collect it the system were down. i know it wasn't his fault the system were down, at least if he answered in a good and positive manner i won't be so pissed off wouldnt i?
he said "kenapa cik x komplen aritu x dpt passport hari tu jugak? kenapa nk komplen arini"
wadda???? heloo. its just a mere complaint, if he answered in a good manner i wouldn't be so pissed off
i even blurted out, "dahla aritu nk buat passport pon lama, counter punya banyak tapi bukak 2-3 je, nilah kerajaan buat kerja" hahahah.. with my hand gestures and all. such a drama queen kan? yelaaaaaaaaaaa pissed off man!
"tahla cik, saya xle watpe.. system down" FINE. i asked, when would the system be up? does it always happen? when it happens how long would it take for the system to be up again?
"tahla cik, slalu down lama jugak la" tah la tah laa. baik jgn keje!.. such answer i pon boleh bagi!
FINE. i asked again and he said, if the counter calls up numbers, it means the system might be running.. so i went to the sitting area to meet up another friend that was there since morning and babbled like a mad woman.
then i heard numbers being called, i went back and there was another guy following me to the counter "encik, sistem da up ke?" the other guy asked the same question. "saya x pasti la cik, saya cuba dulu" then he spoke to his friend at the back "cuba sigik dulu" oooooooooooo kitak org sarawak yaaaaaaaaa.. fineee.. he was lucky that my sarawak vocabs were limited. if not i would have cursed him in sarawak.. should learn more from ronnie.
"cuba sigik dulu, bagi resit cik" i gave him my receipt,, and he looked at it and smriked at me, "cik, x reti baca resit ke. kan da tulis counter 35" OMG!!! heloooooooooooooooooooooo
dat really ticked me off...........wats the purpose i went and asked him? obviously for assistance. i didn't ask him to give him my passport.. i merely asked how can i collect. so wat if i dont understand the receipt, its his job to assist me.. and did he do that? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. "sistem down cikkkk"
oh my, me n my hand gestures and my nonstop blabbering "hey, kan saya da tanya tadi, macam mana nk amik passport, apa awak jawab? sistem down cik. apa salahnya awak bagitau dari tadi, apa salah nya awak amik resit saya n tgk dan explain?
"bukan masalah saya cik, cik yg tak reti baca resit" mmgla aku x reti!!!
MY GOD! "hey, saya keje sini ke awak keje sini, keja awak la nk explain kt saya, kalo dari tadi awak ckp bebaik pegi kaunter 35 tgu sana kan senang?" and his friend behind came up to the counter and gave me a sour face.. i was on the verge off yelling like a lunatic .. yet.. he went on n on.. "bukan masalah saya, cik yg x reti tgk resit" matila kau. i was cursing like shit inside. "terima kasih la encik WILLY" sab pointed out to me his nametag.
if this kind of attitude is found during my monitoring, my agent would have received lots of FATAL scoring from me, and a marking for 3rd degree of rudeness and a DRF (discplinary report form) to compliment it! *matila kau QA da bersuara kannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
went to the counter, wasn't goin to be pissed off with dat guy. mohd adinur, assisted me well. took my receipt, gave me a number and even answered my questions nicely. "cik sistem kena up sbb saya kena activekan passport cik, cik tgu dulu ya"
kan senang hati jwb camtu. xdela aku nk ngamok kannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.. luckily it didn't take long to collect my passport
"haiyah cik, nak amik passport pon muka masam lagi ke" adinur said. hahah the other kakak pon smiled at me. i merely smiled back.. "bukan apa, kalo nk tegur jgn muka masam, tegur kawan awak kt depan tu jgn muka masam"
when it was sab's turn, the kakak asked if she wanted to buy the casing for the passport. sab asked. "nak beli ni kena beratur gak ke" nicely said!! haha.. adinur replied "tak payah la cik.. susah la camtu"
so that's my stupid horrible experience with the immigration at pusat bandar damansara. people gave negative feedback for that particular branch too. so peeps. dont go there!!

lain kali gi buat kat wangsa maju. cepat je, layanan pun ok. tak sampai sejam dah buat,kalo tak sempat siap hr tu, dia akan call bgtau pasport dah ready.
